Walt says we need to have a white sale. No...., not sheets,......sheep. You know, the white kind!

We are trying to make some room for some badgerfaced folks that we have purchased and so, with much hemming and hawing, have decided on three lovely ladies to be sold. This would be an incredible offer for someone wishing to start an icelandic sheep flock with no idea how to get started.

We will be offering three bred ewes to be picked up or delivered the first week of December. Why then? Well, some folks need some time to get a shelter together, some to get fencing secured, others to find a least one reliable hay source. Also, these sheep are seasonal breeders and we will put them with rams the very end of October or very beginning of November. It will give the new shepherds a chance to get to "settle in" with the ewes before lambing in late March or April.

Who is for sale?

AVA
Our sparkling white girl with wide-set horns. Her fleece is silky, white, white, white. A ewe out of our Spanky and our foundation ram Fred, she delivered a single lamb last year and twins this. Ava's price bred is $600.00

BESSIE
Bessie is a pretty little two year old ewe. She is a little bit carmel colored around the head and legs, but her fleece is fairly white. She lambed a single lamb without any ado this spring and is a doting mom with lots of milk. Bessie's bred price is $600.00

MOLLY
Molly is a yearling ewe due to be bred in the fall. She is a pretty white sheep with carmel around her head and neck and we are pleased with her looks and mannerisms. A quiet girl with good manners. Molly's price is $550.00 bred

White Sale
Ava's price (600.00) + Bessie's price (600.00)+ Molly's price (550.00) =$1750 Sale price =$1300.00! Who knows, you will double, and may triple your flock depending on how many lambs these girls deliver. It's our best sale ever! Get your fences and out buildings together...the sheep are coming to stay!
