Icelandic Fleece
Here are just a few of the bagged fleeces after fall shearing. I think Walt gets tired of hearing me say, "ohhh, I really love this one, I think it's my favorite." They are nearly all my favorite. If you are interested in buying one, I'll share my very best with you, but I really could be selfish and keep them all with no complaints!

Lovely Icelandic Fleece For Sale
October....the leaves are falling and the sheep are...well,...fairly naked! They have produced an abundance of beautiful wool this year. As always, I have difficulty deciding what to keep and what to offer to others. Normally I don't have trouble sharing, but fleece....well, that is an entirely different thing.

I asked the neighbors for some help....but they offered no good advice and simply "egged me on". (Sorry, couldn't help myself!)

Ted E. gave his approval of the fleece and enjoyed the warm fiber on the cold shearing day. He says the fleece are outstandingly warm this year!

Athena's fleece
Athena is a lovely small girl with a hint of caramel. Her fleece is not white, white, but spins up with the smallest amount lightly tan color mixed with the white. It is an interesting fleece that has a soft, thick, thel. A hefty fleece for a small sheep. Available for $42.00

Amelia's fleece
Athena's sister, Amelia, is not to be outdone. This little sheep produces a gorgeous white fleece...a lot of fleece for such a little girl. The tog is a very silky white with a soft thel underneath. Available for : $38.00 SOLD

Felicity's fleece
Is it gray, is it black, does it have strands of moorit? Yep, it has all of this. I took a picture in the barn, but it was too dark. Then took one in the bright light...it doesn't do it justice. It is a heavy, multi-colored, mostly black fleece that will spin into a very beautiful blended (I would imagine)black heather. Available for : $48.00 SOLD

Oscar's fleece
A favorite among many spinners due to the beautiful colors in his fleece. Oscar's fleece has every hue of moorit from light tan/blonde to deep chocolate. A smaller and more colorful fleece than usual from Oscar this fall. SOLD

Leonas fleece
Does this look like two fleeces in one? This is a new look for us and our badgerfaced girls! Leona's gorgeous, apricot-colored fleece with the dark, badger color underwear is very nice. I can't wait to spin the other ones! I'll let someone else give this one a whirl! Available for : $35.00 SOLD

Aurora
Aurora is a ewe lamb with an off-white fleece. Perhaps there is a hint of gray or moorit thrown here and there, but it seems to be very subtle. A soft, silky fleece. Available for $36.00

Bunnie's fleece
Bunnie has a large multicolored gray moorit fleece this year. A dense gray thel under a moorit tog. Stunning! SOLD
